In the event of inclement weather, University officials will make every attempt to render a prompt decision regarding curtailment of 类 and activities.
Decisions will be based on weather forecasts, campus conditions and the conditions 大学周边. The University will continue operation of essential and emergency services during inclement weather closings.
Once a decision to curtail operations has been made, the information will be disseminated on campus and will indicate whether 类 are canceled or if we are moving to a 压缩时间 外部网站. Every effort will be made to make morning announcements by approx. 6 a.m. 和决定 关于夜校大约. 4 p.m.

The University recognizes that our commuting students come from a wide geographic area and that road conditions can vary greatly throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. 常见的 sense and good judgment should act as a guide as to whether or not students can get to the University, or if a departure from campus earlier than closing time is required. We anticipate that the Faculty will respect student judgment in these matters. Cross-registered students at King's College and/or Misericordia University should check for decisions made at those campus.

In-Person 类 Impacted by Inclement Weather
如果是大学 closes the campus or offices due to inclement weather, each faculty member who was scheduled to teach in-person during the closure should determine whether the impacted class will meet remotely at the normal time, will be canceled, or will be replaced by a substitute activity. 教职员工有责任 for notifying their students of their decisions and should tell their students as 尽快.
